Providing Feedback: Is there a science to providing feedback?

This session brings awareness to one of the most important leadership activities. Feedback is a method of communication between employee and leader in which both parties dialogue expectations, measure progress against goals and discuss ways to improve. During this dynamic session, leaders discover why many attempts at feedback fail. They learn a tool for ensuring that the feedback they provide, whether positive or corrective, has the best possible chance for success.
    Learning Objectives:

Understand that feedback is neither negative or positive- it's a method of communication. They will be able to dialogue expectations, measure progress against goals, and discuss ways to improve. They will have tools and skills to implement immediately after the session.
Why most attempts at feedback fall short
    Formula for providing feedback
Model that visualizes barriers to feedback and illuminates opportunities
    Formula for receiving feedback
