Embracing Change and Strengthening Connections in 2024

Dear ATD Nebraska Members and Supporters,

Good morning and happy New Year! As we step into our 65th year of excellence, I am thrilled to share some exciting updates and changes that will shape our journey throughout the coming months.

Stay Liquid and Fill the Gaps:

This year, we're adopting a more flexible approach with our new slogan, "Stay Liquid and Fill the Gaps." This signifies our commitment to collaboration and the collective effort to bring you the best experience. This also allows Board members to participate, in all areas of the chapter providing a clearer understanding of expectations across all positions.

Special Projects and Technological Advancements:

Our Special Projects position continues to serve as a stepping stone onto the board. Currently, we're focusing on a pivotal transition to leverage Google for Nonprofits and integrate other tools to enhance board operations and member interactions. Stay tuned for more details on how we'll be utilizing Google Workspace for a seamless experience for board members.

Email Communication Update:

As part of our commitment to efficient communication, we've migrated our emails to Gmail. Please bear with us during this transition, and rest assured, we're working diligently to make this shift as smooth as possible.

Exciting Opportunities and Collaborations:

This year holds great promise with several opportunities and programs in the pipeline. We're actively working on partnerships with other ATD chapters, and local HRAM aiming to provide valuable networking opportunities. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting initiative.

Vision and Mission:

Our vision and mission remain constant: “To be the preferred leader in workplace learning and performance.” This guides our actions and aspirations as we continue to evolve and adapt to the ever-changing needs of our members.

I am truly excited about the journey ahead. Together, let's make 2024 a year of growth, collaboration, and excellence.

Thank you for your ongoing support, and here's to another remarkable year!

Cheers,

Kristi Stewart
