Discussion Topic: Leadership Level-up: 2024 Research, Trends, and Insights In Leadership Development

About the Speaker:

Jon Titus serves Boys Town as a Senior Organization Development Consultant. He’s been in this full-time role for two years. He’s also in his twelfth year of part-time teaching for Bellevue University in Management and HR. Prior to Boys Town, he was the AVP of Training and Organizational Development at Lutheran Family Services.

In addition to leading Elevate, Boys Town’s first organization-wide leadership development program, Jon advises two of the eight employee resource groups. He’s an innovative facilitator, and he’s passionate about the doors that are opened for life-long learners. He served on the ATD Nebraska board of directors for six years (including 2016 when he was our President). He spoke at the national ATD leadership conference on recognition and engagement, served on the ATD Chapter Recognition Committee, and was a reviewer for both the Excellence in Practice awards and the BEST awards for a number of years. Jon earned his MBA from the University of Iowa and earned the designation of Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) from ATD.

Jon and his wife, Yue, have been married 16 years and have two sons - Alex will be a sophomore at Millard North, and Declan will be starting middle school at Kiewit this fall. You should know Jon is a voracious reader and a serial volunteer – including having received the Iowa Governor’s Award for Volunteerism. He served in Bolivia as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer, and most recently was named Group Mentor of the Year by Partnership 4 Kids.

The Learning Leaders Form is a monthly networking of top decision makers from across the state of Nebraska ideating and sharing challenges and wins from their perspective in the latest talent development industry trends. These monthly meetings draw together ATD Nebraska chapter members and community leaders who are Talent Development professionals in mid- to senior-level leadership positions at their organizations. For this forum only, chapter membership is not a requirement.

Each month, a different participant hosts a discussion topic centered around initiatives, challenges, case studies, or development programs relevant to leaders. Join us to collaborate and share best practices!
