As we step into 2026 together, I’m grateful and excited for the opportunity to serve this incredible community of learning and development professionals as President of ATD Nebraska. Our theme for the year, Together We Rise, reflects the heart of our chapter and the power of community—recognizing that none of us reaches new heights alone. In the field of talent development, we lift one another through shared knowledge, meaningful connections, and a collective commitment to growth. When we support each other intentionally, we create space not only for professional advancement, but for personal fulfillment as well.
I encourage each of you to set bold goals this year—goals that stretch you, challenge you, and move you closer to the impact you want to make. Then, lean into the strength of this chapter. Seek out opportunities that increase the likelihood of success by engaging in our programs, leveraging our tools and resources, and building relationships that foster accountability and momentum. ATD Nebraska exists to support your growth, and together—through collaboration and shared purpose—we will rise higher than we ever could on our own.
I am deeply grateful to those who have supported and guided me on my ATD Nebraska journey, especially Sunni Wiltse, our 2025 President, whose leadership, wisdom, and generosity continue to shape our chapter. I am also thankful to the many past presidents and fellow board members who have encouraged me to reach higher and grow into this role. That same spirit of strong, supportive leadership continues with Gina Epperson as our President-Elect, and I have great confidence in the strength and perspective she brings to our leadership team. To our board, thank you for your hard work, enthusiasm, and unwavering dedication. And to our members—your engagement, curiosity, and commitment to learning are the reason this chapter thrives. Your participation fuels our momentum and makes it possible for us to rise together.
