Make Your Training GREAT through EFFECTIVE Learning Objectives - VIRTUAL

In the session, we will focus on what makes a learning objective effective, why they’re important and when and how often to introduce them. This is a crucial step that is often missed in even the most accredited programs.

Learners will recognize what makes an effective learning objective and will demonstrate writing one.

Facilitator 
Julia Burgess is a Professional Development Trainer at Medical Solutions, an Everything DiSC Certified Practitioner, and a Certified Zumba Instructor. Although in every position she has held previously she wound up training new people she came to Learning & Development world through a very happy accident. Julia enjoys creating learning experiences that include humor for maximum retention and loves connecting concepts, when relevant, to make learning a more fluid experience. She is an ATD Nebraska member, and has a passion for creating content for her company’s DEI Council.

Co-facilitator Kristina Pohlmann is a fellow Learning and Development professional with industry experience of 14 years, spending her time creating and facilitating learning experiences that learners enjoy. She is an ATD Nebraska and Omaha Organizational Development Network (ODN) member and is passionate about continuing to improve her skills and sharing what she learns with others. She loves to get involved, give back to the community, and is a champion for DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility) and Wellness.
