Sketchnoting is a versatile skill that not only can be used for creating memorable personal notes, but can be used to enhance effectiveness throughout learning, thinking and working. It is both a tool for personal development and can also be used in the workplace for effective communication, to aid learning and productive working. Now is your opportunity to give it a try.

This is a practical session, much of which will get you drawing and beginning to develop some of the key skills for Sketchnoting. Don’t worry, you don’t need to be an artist to be an effective Sketchnoter or participate. Presenter Rachel Burnham creates a warm and friendly environment in which all can have a go.

Make sure you have plenty of plain paper available to draw on during the session and some felt tips or colored pencils. A black felt tip is particularly useful. And it is easier to draw if you have a table to lean on.

By the end of the session, you will be able to:

  • Define what a Sketchnote is and describe its key elements
  • Identify how you can make use of Sketchnoting to aid your learning, thinking and working
  • Have confidence to draw simple pictures and graphics
  • Use practical tips for Sketchnoting

So what are you waiting for, book a place now!
