We archive all of our monthly newsletters. Even though the newsletter isn't from the current month, a lot of the information is still valuable. For example, the August 2014 newsletter has information about copyright laws and Millennials.

I’m new to this field and need some training/professional development.
You have come to the right place! ATD Nebraska offers monthly programs on relevant topics. For information on the next program, check the website. We also offer a Trainer’s Institute, which is packed with resources, tips and techniques for preparing you to be a great trainer. Find out more on the next Trainer’s Institute. If you are interested in obtaining a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance certificate, ATD Nebraska offers study sessions and preparation at no cost to members. Check the CPLP page for more information and the dates for upcoming preparation sessions. And did you know that you can attend programs offered by ATD Lincoln—for a member’s cost? Check their website for current offerings. ATD National offers a wealth of training resources. If you become a dual member of ATD Nebraska and National, you can access all of these resources as part of your membership.

I’d like to develop my leadership skills. What opportunities do you have?
Many! Several of our members go on to take leadership positions on the board. Our board is a safe and fun place where you can learn to lead. Check out current openings on the board. If a board position is more of a time commitment than you can make right now, we have many volunteer opportunities for you here. Consider being a mentor for someone new in the field. Mentoring can be a rewarding experience for both parties. Contact our Director of Mentoring for more about this program.
