Virtual Presentations:

Program and Workshop

Presenter: Christina Davis

_________________________________________________

Please note:

This event has been rescheduled for

Thursday, November 21.

Virtual presentations are a part of our everyday correspondence.  Communicating virtually and delivering online presentations can take the form of client reviews, sales meetings, staff meetings, interviews, coaching, etc. With the additional challenges involved in presenting virtually, you have to take your skills to the next level and not leave the preparation to chance. Our November program will provide you with some best practices to assist with effective planning and execution.

"Presenting to an in-person audience is difficult. Presenting to a remote audience is difficult squared, unless you have a process."--Timothy Koegel in The Exceptional Presenter Goes Virtual.

The program portion of the November program provides a high- level discussion of common mistakes people make in virtual presentations. Christina Davis helps dispel some "myths" and shares some easy-to-use road maps to increase virtual presentation effectiveness.

The following workshop is a more practical application of the program content and builds on the program concepts. Christina provides opportunities for the audience to practice certain key skills necessary for effective virtual presentations through small, table group activities, and goes a level deeper on application. Handling difficult "personalities" on a virtual presentation is also discussed. Ms. Davis will also provide techniques to mitigate those situations, including, but not limited to: identifying communication styles in others and adjusting your style to meet the needs of the potentially disruptive participants, all while maintaining your own confidence and credibility.
