In the upcoming session, the Talent Management team at Woodmen of the World plans to share how they have contributed to creating an exceptional learning environment and identify the learning tools they used to create it.
The TM team's senior leadership will also discuss the importance of supporting learning and development through:
- Recognizing high potential candidates
- Building a specific leadership development program
- Identifying what tools and support is needed to build an effective learning organization
Let's Meet the Presenters:
As a Sr. Performance Development Consultant, Terry Lee presents and facilitates training and development sessions that position Woodmen for the future and helps employees tap into their potential, possibilities and progress.
Terry holds certifications in Executive Coaching from Kaplan University, 360 Feedback coaching from Lominger/Korn Ferry, Emergenetics and Achieve Global Customer Service training.
He has worked as a contract motivational speaker for Making It Count. Making It Count is a division of Monster Inc. that provides presentations regarding college and career choices to High School and College freshmen students. Terry has spoken to over 10,000 students through this program.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from University of Nebraska at Omaha and is currently working toward a Masters of Communications/Human Resources degree from Bellevue University, expected completion August of 2013.
Marsha J. Graesser serves as Director, Talent Acquisition and Development. where her duties include strategically directing the recruitment process, a.k.a. talent acquisition, including staffing and planning. She joined Woodmen of the World in February of 2006 as a Training Consultant. She was promoted to Senior Training Consultant in 2007, and to Manager, Talent Development in 2008.
As a Talent Management Training Consultant, Jennifer presents and facilitates training and development sessions that helps to enrich Woodmen Associates in their current role and help position them for future roles in the organization.
Jennifer McKern is currently the Talent Management Training Consultant at Woodmen of the World where she continually uses her Organizational Development Experience.
Jennifer has served on a committee with the Nebraska Chapter of ASTD, completed the ASTD Trainers Institute, received a certificate in coaching through the ASTD National chapter, and became a certified associate for Emergenetics and Leadership Architect 360 coaching.
Jennifer's Organizational Development Experience:
- Co-facilitated multiple Talent Assessment sessions
- Delivered numerous team building and coaching sessions utilizing the Emergenetics (psycho-metric tool)
- Facilitated succession planning discussion and placement sessions
