Creating Your Training Brand
Presenter: Kim Whiteside

What’s your training identity? Who are you, and what do you bring to the table when it comes to adult learning, human performance, and/or organizational development? Above and beyond what it may say in your resume, what are the unique talents that serve you well in the training industry?
According to a May 2012 Forbes magazine article, brands outlive products (tangibles) and convey uniform quality, credibility, and experience. The author, Scott Goodson, went on to assure readers that branding is fundamental, basic, and essential.
Often, individual personal/professional brands are overarching and general focusing on creating an overall value statement of a person’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. In this session, the focus will be on excellence in training, what you specifically bring to the training table, and ways in which you can brand yourself as an essential resource within your team, department, and organization.
