A Blended Learning Journey

PRESENTED BY ASTD-Lincoln

______________________________________

Traveling the path to a blended learning strategy can be daunting. How and where do you start? Where does instructor-led training and facilitation fit in the mix? What if you have limited resources and experience - and time? Wouldn't it be great to have a map from someone who started the journey years ago and has successfully 'been there - done (and is continuing to do) that'?

Your guides at the July 19th learning event started their blended learning journey 10 years ago. Looking for ways to meet unfulfilled learner needs with a limited training budget, Ameritas' Group Sales Training and Development Division looked to a blended learning solution. Despite limited resources, a lack of eLearning instructional design experience and an already full plate of responsibilities, the Ameritas team took the initial steps that launched their blended learning journey. Today, blended learning is a significant part of their team's training and development strategy and success. Everything from products and processes to technology and skills have been integrated into a blended environment which has decreased costs and ramp up time while increasing effectiveness.

The Ameritas team will share their insights, experiences with a participative demonstration to show you this is a journey you can take, too!

By attending the July 19th  learning event, you will:

  • Learn about Ameritas' blended learning journey and best practices
  • Learn how blended learning has enabled a much more productive and participant-centered learning experience at Ameritas

  • Obtain a roadmap and examples to help you with your blended learning journey
  • Hear about the pros and cons, challenges and successes of the technologies they have tried
Whether you are considering the journey to blended learning or are on the road and looking for best practices and ideas to improve, you will benefit from this team's knowledge and experience.
