Measurement Map: Event and Workshop

Learning leaders are increasingly called on to align with the business side of the organization and prove that their investments have a positive impact on the bottom line. Alignment may be easy to visualize for a training initiative that has direct impact on monetary return, such as sales training, but alignment becomes more challenging when the training develops soft skills. With the right tools, major investments in training can be aligned with business goals and linked to the bottom line.

In this interactive workshop, participants will learn how to develop a line of sight between people strategies and business strategies, showing logical relationships between a training investment and the organization’s strategic goals. By designing training with alignment in mind, learning leaders can define success for an initiative and measure progress toward success. Participants will be introduced to a Measurement Map™ that guides the process of defining success, identifying metrics from leading indicators to business results.

Speaker Bio:

Jennifer’s experience spans the fields of finance, education, and human capital. She has helped numerous organizations with complex human capital issues and in measuring the impact of training. Jennifer holds a Ph.D. from Iowa State University and an MBA and bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
