Join ATD Nebraska for this free event! Ensuring learners are motivated to fully participate in learning is essential in order for an organization’s learning initiatives to drive the intended results. Managers and leaders cannot motivate learners as that comes from within the learners themselves. However, they can help shape a work environment that cultivates learner motivation. Please join this one-hour session where participants will learn best practices on how to foster learner motivation.

Learning objectives

  • Ensuring learners have a “say” in the learning solution
  • Help learners self-assess and set goals prior to participating in any learning experience
  • Involving managers in pre-training meetings with learners
  • Selling the personal benefit to the learner
  • Maintaining an environment that encourages learning

By attending this interactive session, you will learn the research and statistics of the topic, be able to share your insights, and take away the ideas of those in attendance. You will walk away with new best practices to take back to your organization.
