Presenter : Tina Bakehouse

Plato said, "Know thyself," and being aware of your personal communication strengths and limitations can affect how you deliver the message in a meaningful way.  Some speakers are highly energetic, displaying animated vocal and physical characteristics; whereas, other effective speakers are more deliberative, with a soft confidence.

Because oral communication is different than written communication, we must craft our messages to meet the needs of our audiences to engage them to continue to listen.  Being emotionally connected and intellectually charged, you can perform with your own signature style.

In this session, you'll learn some tips and strategies that'll enhance your communication style, allowing you to present with confidence and ease.  In the end, speaking your way to success.

By the end of the program, participants will:

  • Understand that engaged speakers use a wide-range of strategies to connect with an audience
  • Realize how to use audience-centered strategies that match their individual speaker style
