ASTD-Lincoln and Southeast Community College again welcome Jonathan Halls to Lincoln September 9 - 10!

These popular workshops will be led by Jonathan Halls, international corporate learning and professional media expert. Those who attended Jonathan's last sold-out workshop in Lincoln in March 2013 (a second workshop had to be added at the last minute!) left with a wealth of resources about video production. Video Sandpit Workshop – Wednesday, September 10

Take a deeper dive into video production in this interactive workshop that uses the rapid video technique from the Video Boot Camp and builds on your skills to make truly engaging video. Meet Your Workshop Guide

Jonathan Halls is the author of the top-selling book, Rapid Video Development for Trainers. Australian-born Jonathan Halls has taught media and learning for more than 20 years. He has also worked as a talk show host, journalist, trainer, and media executive. Moving to London, he was hired to run the BBC's New Media Training Unit (Core Skills), then promoted to become the learning executive in charge of production training in television, radio ops, and new media.

 

Jonathan has taught thousands of media professionals around the globe who work in newspaper, radio, and television. Today he is based in Northern Virginia and Principal of Jonathan Halls & Associates. He is an adjunct professor at George Washington University. Jonathan is active in the ASTD community, having been on the planning committees for both ASTD ICE and TechKnowledge. He has also been on the review panel for the ASTD BEST Awards for the past three years and was founding president of ASTD's UK Global Network.

 

Jonathan divides his time between teaching media for non-media professionals and running workshops on leadership and change. He is the author of Rapid Video Development for Trainers(2012) and the forthcoming books, Creativity in 3 Steps: Making Workplace Innovation a Habit, and Podcasting for Politicos, Educators and Marketers.
